What is "Odds": Computed by (# of TennFests played) / (# of TennFests won). In theory, the lower the odds the better a player could be. A perfect odds is 1, that is, a team wins every time.
What is "Win, Place, Show": We use race-track lingo here. In thoroughbred racing, the #1 horse is called "WIN" horse; #2/#3 is called "PLACE/SHOW".
How the ranking is decided: A team which collects the most victories, including WINs, PLACEs and SHOWs, will rank #1. If two teams have same number of victories, the one who acquires the most WINs (then PLACEs, etc.) will rank ahead. If all the victories are identical, i.e., 5 victories with 2 Wins, 2 PLACEs, 1 SHOW, a team with the lower ODDs will rank ahead. - -
